Description

Vibrant depiction of Vajravarahi (Dorje Phagmo), the wrathful red dakini. She dances in a ring of fire, holding a curved flaying knife (kartika) and a skull cup (kapala), adorned with a garland of severed heads and bone ornaments. She stands on a prostrate figure atop a lotus throne, with snow-capped mountains in the background. Kapala offerings are shown at the base.
