Exquisite all-gold Medicine Buddha (Sangye Menla) thangka on a golden background. The main figure holds a myrobalan plant (arura) in one hand and a lapis-blue medicine bowl in the other. Five smaller Buddhas appear in the upper register. Eight auspicious offerings are shown at the base. Highly detailed gold-on-gold brocade work throughout.
